Encouragement by Dr.A.R. Bernard
Hebrews 3:13
This world can be a difficult place, a place where many of our friends and family members are troubled by the challenges of everyday life. And since we cannot always be certain who needs our help, we should strive to speak helpful words to all who cross our paths.
Genuine encouragement should never be confused with pity. God intends for His children to lead lives of abundance, joy, celebration, and praise-not lives of self-pity or regret. So we must guard ourselves against hosting (or joining) the "pity parties" that so often accompany difficult times. Instead, we must encourage each other to have faith-first in God and His only begotten Son-and then in our own abilities to use the talents God has given us for the furtherance of His kingdom and for the betterment of our own lives.
When you think about it, with God on your side you have every reason to be hopeful, and you have every reason to share your hopes with others. When you do, you will discover that hope, like other human emotions, is contagious. So do the world (and yourself) a favor: Look for the good in others and celebrate the good that you find. When you do, you'll be a powerful force of encouragement to your friends and family…and a worthy servant to your Creator.

True Prosperity by Joe Stowell
A few years ago, the banking empire Citicorp ran a series of billboards about money: “Money changes hands—just be sure it doesn’t change the rest of you!” and “If people say you’re made of money, you should work on your personality!” These ads gave a refreshingly new perspective on riches.
God also has a surprising spin on wealth. From His perspective, you can be “well off” when it comes to worldly treasures and yet be in dire poverty in your soul. Or you can be poor in terms of earthside stuff and be lavishly rich by God’s standards.
The distorting power of wealth reminds me of the story of the rich young ruler. After a discussion about eternal life, Jesus asked him to sell his possessions, give to the poor, and follow Him. Unfortunately, the man “went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions” (Mark 10:22). This prompted Jesus’ lesson to the disciples: “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!” (v.23).
It’s not that Jesus is against wealth. It’s just that He is grieved by anything that we value more than Him. We can work hard and make money, but when those things are the main pursuit of life, then Jesus isn’t. Placing Him first and foremost in our lives is the key to true prosperity.
He possessed all the world had to give him,
He had reached every coveted goal;
But, alas, his life was a failure,
For he had forgotten his soul. —Denison

***
Are you ready for the Word of God?
Once again we welcome
LOVEly
Pastor JACOB
(Wait...Let me get ready first…^_^)
John 3:16,
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
God's love for us is a gift
Paid by Jesus Christ
Matthew 5:45,
“that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and send rain on the righteous and unrighteous.”
Acts 14:17,
“Yet he has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your heart with joy.”
We are so sure of His Love for us
Because
We are His creation.
The world is full of negative elements
But His Loves cover the
righteous and unrighteous
which is far better than
what we hear from the world
everyday.
Let us choose to fill our mind with God’s Love
rather than being corrupted
by those negative elements.
Deuteronomy 30:11-17,
“14…No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.”
Acts 20:32,
“Now, I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you inheritance among all those who are sanctified.”
God shows His Love through Communication
He likes to communicate with us
Through the Bible
and prayer.
Bible is a LOVE letter from God
Teaching us how to live a godly life
Guiding us to the right path.
Let us make it a habit to pray
and read the Word of God
Let it becomes the most
important part of our life.
1 John 2:25,
“And this is what he promised us – even eternal life.”
Jesus Christ came so that
We can have eternal life
and
Eternal life starts
the moment
We accepted Him into our life.
Amen.
This is God's Love

How Great is Our God
***
Romans 5:5,
“And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.”
God’s Love is our central of Faith,
Where we find our Hope in it,
Even though we fail Him at times,
He is still faithful to us.
Luke 15:11-24,
“…For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found. So they began to celebrate.”
Just like the prodigal son,
We were rebellious,
We sinned against God,
Till we came to a dead end,
We have no way out,
God is still waiting for us,
From far He can see us,
Running back to His Kingdom,
He rejoices with us.
Hosea 3:1-3,
“The Lord said to me, “Go, show your love to your wife again, though she is loved by another and is an adulteress. Love her as the LORD loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and love the sacred raisin cakes. So I bought her for fifteen shekels of silver and about a homer and a lethek of barley. Then I told her, “You are to live with me many days; you must not be a prostitute or be intimate wit hany man, and I will live with you.”
Just like the wife,
Hosea paid a price,
to win his wife’s heart.
And us,
We were once being consumed by this world,
But God won us back through Jesus’ blood,
We were bought with a price,
paid by Jesus.
Amen.
***
Still Happy?

And Now…
Let us put our hands to welcome…
Our LOVEly
***
He was sharing with us the LOVE of God.
1 John 4:8, 16
“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
“And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love.
Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.”
God is Love
And
It is His nature to Love us.
Ephesian 3:19
“and to know that this love that surpasses knowledge – that you may filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”
God is a God of relationship
It is His mission for everyone of us to know His Love.
His love is Active
And
Discipline
His love is our central of Faith,
It is real.
It is often shown through Father-Son relationship
Or
Husband and wife relationship
Finally,
He is an ever-forgiving God
He allows circumstances come our way
But He will never us go astray.
Roman 5:5-8,
“And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our heart by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
God still love us
even though
we being ignorant,
unaware of His Love
or rejecting Him.
The cross is the symbol of
LOVE
While we were still sinner,
He shed His blood for us.
Proverb 3:12,
“ because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.”
Hebrew 8:5,
“Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God discipline you.:
Hebrew 12:10-11,
“Our Father disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share is his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteous and peace for those who have been trained by it.”
God loves us so much that He disciplines us
For our own good
So that we may share His love and Holiness.
Do you feel loved?? ^_^
What do we usually after that??!~
Food Fellowship~~:)

Well,
Good Night~
Everyone.
